Except for the thread size, other product size requirements of plated threaded fasteners are applicable to the pre-plating inspection when there are no special requirements. No inspection is required after plating. In order to ensure the screwability of the plated thread, the plated thread inspection uses the h or H thread gauge in accordance with GB/T3934 to check the external or internal thread. In other words, the thread size of the external thread should not exceed the zero line after electroplating, and the internal thread should not be lower than the zero line. The appearance, corrosion resistance, adhesion and toughness of the electroplated layer after plating should comply with the relevant national standards.
